You know the value of experiential learning for young adults. And hey, so do we!
That’s why we partner with organizations like yours who offer transformative and purposeful experiences and training across Canada and around the world for young people looking to do something different. Together, we support students in deepening their cultural awareness, self-awareness, thirst for adventure and the development of new skills.
As a CanGap partner, you’re not just introduced to our growing community of students and families, you’re also invited to share your knowledge, give potential participants a taste of your programming, and support the gap year movement through our virtual and in-person events, awareness resources, and virtual experiences.
Our students and families ask our team daily what program is the best option for their upcoming gap year. If we don’t know about you, neither will they!

To obtain the certification, it is required to have a CanGap facilitated Anti-Oppression workshop for your team at an additional cost. “CanGap provides an extra push in our goal to create a national awareness of Katimavik’s programs for young adults. We see CanGap as a valuable resource in that it is one of the go-to guides for young folks looking for opportunities during their gap year.”

“The benefits go beyond what's being paid for. We're reaching students who wouldn't be at career fairs or post-secondary institutions which is normally where we recruit.”
