COVID-19 Event Protocol
Updated: July 2022
CanGap is cautiously excited to return to in-person events for the 2022/2023 gap year season! We also recognize that the pandemic is not yet over and we need to prioritize the safety of our most vulnerable populations. As such, we will be adopting a careful approach to our in-person events.
Gap Year Accelerator Toronto Bootcamp
During our 3-day experience together in Toronto, CanGap is adopting the following protocols:
-
All participants must be fully vaccinated (at least 2 doses and 2 weeks post-second dose): Proof of vaccination will be required at the start of Day One. Participants who fail to provide proof of vaccination will not be allowed to participate and no refund will be provided.
-
All participants must be in good health and not exhibiting any COVID19 symptoms during the program. Ongoing monitoring will occur during the program. Refunds will be issued for those who must stay home due to illness and participants will automatically be registered for the virtual bootcamp.
-
Weather and activity permitting, as much of our program as possible will take place outdoors. Please dress accordingly.
-
When indoors, masking will be required. We will also be bringing additional portable HEPA filtration systems for indoor workshops.
We will continue to monitor COVID19 in Toronto and update all participants if any of our protocol changes. If your comfort level changes with regard to the current COVID19 levels or any adjustments to our protocol, please email michelle@cangap.ca and we will issue a refund and move you to the virtual bootcamp.
We appreciate your courtesy and respect towards our community as we work toward making this as safe and as inclusive as possible while still valuing the in-person experience.
